Criteria for assessment :
i] Within individual production design processes: assessment will be made upon the basis of the following criteria:
- Conception: understanding of conceptual context; creative development of concept. (30%)
- Presentation: effectiveness of concept presentation in production meetings. (10%)
- Realisation: management of resources; effectiveness of design realisation. (30%)
- Operation: effectiveness of operation and management of the design in performance. (15%)
- Collaboration: holistic understanding and awareness; personal management within collaboration. (15%)
ii] Individual working notebook / folio: assessment will be made upon the basis of the following criteria:
- Research: evidence of relevant research; understanding of conceptual context. (15%)
- Concept Development: evidence of concept exploration and sustained development; of lateral thought; integrity, originality and creativity of ideas. (40%)
- Communication: effectiveness as an instrument for the representation and communication of ideas. (30%)
- Form: appropriate, efficient and imaginative use of media employed (including written annotation and exposition). (15%)
iii] For viva : assessment will be made according to the following criteria:
- Ability to conduct objective analysis. (50%)
- Ability to engage with and respond to critical observation. (50%)
