Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
1. You will be aware of the eighteenth- and nineteeenth-century background to the comparison of literatures in the various Celtic languages.

2. You will be aware of themes which appear in more than one of the Celtic literatures.

3. You will have studied various similarities between these literatures and considered various explan ations for their occurrence.
