Brief description

This is a practical sculpture course where students will have the opportunity to work in a variety of materials using forms from nature as their source of inspiration. The technique of carving semi-hard materials such as thermalite blocks, plaster and wax will be explored but there will be freedom for students to work in different materials if they wish, such as mixed media, wire, or driftwood. Suitable for complete beginners.
