The security operation on campus supports the University's overall aim of providing a secure and friendly environment for students, staff and visitors by ensuring as far as possible a safe and secure place to learn and work. Our security officers patrol the University's properties to minimise damage and theft. A 24 hour all year round point of contact is available for emergencies and provides an essential link to the emergency services.

Should you need the assistance or advice of security staff they can be contacted night or day on extension 2649. Please note that when the office is not attended there will be a short delay while the telephone system transfers the call to the security mobile telephone.
