The interests of the
Institute of Biological,
Environmental and Rural Sciences (IBERS)
Aberystwyth University (Wales,
UK), parasitology
research group cover a broad range of parasite research from the molecular to
the ecosystem level. The major strands of work are centred on molecular and
biochemical parasitology, in particular glutathione transferases, lipid binding
proteins and functional genomics, immunology, the development of novel drug and
vaccination targets, parasite ecology and behavioural parasitology. For further
