The Sinfonia is the premier amateur chamber orchestra in West and Central Wales. Its smaller size means that it can concentrate on a quite different repertoire from the symphony orchestra, playing works from the Classical and Baroque periods as well as later music. The orchestra enjoys playing the repertoire as well as preparing for concerts.
Sinfonia does not meet regularly but players get together for occasional weekends to work for a particular concert. Membership is by invitation and depends on the requirements of a particular programme. If you are interested in taking part, just contact the Music Centre.
