The Dean of Postgraduate Studies is responsible for the provision of postgraduate training within the Institution as a whole, and also has a co-ordinating role in relation to the development of policy on postgraduate matters; the provision of facilities for postgraduates; and the monitoring of academic progress of postgraduate students.
Aberystwyth is committed to the provision of an appropriate level of training for postgraduate students and has established a Research Training and Development Programme which is available to students from all three Faculties, according to the specific training requirements laid down by Faculties, Departments or funding bodies.
