Semester Assessment | ASSESSMENTS OF LESSONS BY SCHOOL STAFF AND AU STAFF 12 assessments of lessons by school staff (5 in SE1 and 7 in SE2) and 3 assessments of lessons by AU staff. On completion of this module, students should be able to:
1. Plan lessons appropriate to the age and stage of a variety of classes;
2. Design and select resources, including ICT, to support lesson planning;
3. Teach classes at various levels;
4. Demonstrate ability in classroom management;
5. Demonstrate professional values.
Students spend a total of 25 weeks in school placements. The programme is designed to ensure progression in terms of the balance between observation and actual teaching and in terms of the level of classes taught.
