Learning Outcomes

The objectives of the module include the following:

understand the role of enterprise in the context of the individual and the small business

be aware of the skills necessary that are essential in order to create a viable enterprise.

Aims

The module will include the management of small businesses from start-up, growth and expansion. Characteristics of the entrepreneur, how to get started, raising finance and other issues will be discussed and analysed.
