The aim of this module is to introduce students to the management of the rapidly developing world of the media and the arts. With the emergence of digital technology, the demand for increased programming across a broad range of media will increase the competitive environment. This module will also investigate the development of multimedia and its role in business as a means of increasing the availability of information.
The objectives of the module include the following:
- to understand the diversity, interaction and operation of the media and the arts
- to understand the practical elements of media operation including budgeting and operation of the media commissioning process.
