This module takes the form of an individual project in which the student investigates a problem under the supervision of a member of the academic staff. The nature of the problem may be experiemental, theoretical, data analysis or computer modeling. The project will allow the student to apply knowledge and techniques learned in the course so far. Emphasis is placed on understanding and application of fundamental physical principles.
