Assess how the public, private and voluntary sectors interact with the rural tourism industry.

Identify and analyse the concept of sustainability in rural tourism management.

Evaluate the success and applicability of strategies for the management of rural tourism resources.

Brief description

This module addresses the theoretical and practical nature of management in rural tourism within the UK and European countries. The module analyses the demand and supply relationship within rural tourism and assesses the various approaches to the management of the rural tourism resource.
