Fy ddiddordeb ymchwil canolog yn gorwedd yn y rhyng-gysylltiadau rhwng athroniaeth (Damcaniaeth Feirniadol ac athroniaeth cyfandirol) a theatr, drama a pherfformiad. Diddordebau ymchwil eraill yn cynnwys Drama cyfoes Prydain ac Iwerddon, Theatr Ewropeaidd Modern, Rhyw a Rhywioldeb. Yr wyf yn cyd-drefnu symposiwm ar 'Theatrical Aesthetics of Eroticism and Death' ym Mhrifysgol Aberystwyth yn 2004 a, gyda'r Athro David Ian Rabey, y gynhadledd ryngwladol gyntaf ar 'Howard Barker's Art of Theatre' ym mis Gorffennaf 2009.
