As students ourselves, the Residence Assistant (RA) team understands the strains and stresses of university life. We recognise how easy it is to become overwhelmed during the course of your degree and are here to signpost you to the best services available in order for you to effectively take care of your physical and mental health.
If you ever feel the need to make use of our signposting service, you can contact the Residence Life team in the following ways:
An RA will stop by your flat or house regularly to see how things are going, provide you with up-to-date information on all the events and activities that are going on around campus and within your residence, and check if you have any worries or concerns that they can help with. Keep an eye on your emails as we will let you know when they are going to pop in.
Our team is available every evening Monday-Friday between 9pm-11pm at Campus Reception. Just pop in if you would like to chat about anything relating to your life as a student. The RAs will be able to signpost you on to the appropriate services or contacts so that you can make the most out of your time at Aberystwyth.
The RA team is also contactable via live chat every weeknight between 9pm-11pm. Simply visit https://www.aber.ac.uk/en/accommodation/ and click on the purple 'chat now' button in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
