Registration process for the Summer Resit Assessments in August

All undergraduate (except FDA and FDSC) students will be automatically registered to resit the modules which they are eligible to resit (up to a maximum of 80 credits) during the Summer Resit Assessments. As it is compulsory for you to resit in August you will not be asked to register for resits.  Instead students who fail 20 credits or fewer who do not need to resit for progression purposes will have a task on the Student Record on the web which allows you to decline resits in August.

FDA and FDSC students who are eligible to resit assessments during the Summer Resit Assessment period in August MUST register whether they wish to take resits or not and do so online via Your Student Record on the web.  FDA and FDSC students are NOT automatically registered for resits.

Students will have up to a maximum of two weeks after their results are published to register their intentions to resit or not.

Postgraduates who are eligible to resit assessments during the Summer Resit Assessment period in August MUST register whether they wish to take resits or not and do so online via Your Student Record on the web.  Postgraduate students are NOT automatically registered for resits.

Students will have up to a maximum of three weeks after their results are published to register their intentions to resit or not.

Students who are eligible to choose whether or not to resit in August will see under 'My Tasks' on the home page of the Student Record a button titled ‘Summer Resit Assessments’. Click on this and you will be forwarded to a screen where you can indicate whether or not you wish to resit (only the modules you are eligible to choose to resit or not will be shown with a Yes / No button).  Indicate your choice by clicking on the Yes / No options then click on the button at the bottom of the page ‘Submit Resit Choices’.  Shortly after submitting your choices, You will receive an email confirming your intentions.

It is essential you check your results, consult with your department(s) and register your intentions if the option is available for you to do so.   You should note that there is a charge for resits, please see the Resit Charges web page for further information.
