Choosing a Career

Start thinking about this as early as possible, through simple questions like:

  • What hobbies do I enjoy, or in which clubs and societies do I participate?
  • Are there particular aspects of my course that are really interesting and inspire me?
  • What do I do in my social life that really excites me?

Choosing a career path is as simple as thinking about these things, learning a bit more about the range of options that are out there for you and then pulling all these elements together, without limiting yourself.

That’s where we come in as a Careers Service, we will help you to see what you enjoy, recognise the huge range of skills you have to offer, and show you how to find out more about the great range of choices that are out there for you.

So wherever you are with your studies at the moment there are things to do and ways we can help you.
