Responsibilities
As University Secretary, Geraint leads the University's Governance Unit .
His role primarily focuses on clerking the University's main decision-making committees, as well as having an oversight over the whole governance committee structure.
Biography
Originally from Lampeter, Geraint graduated from Aberystwyth University in 2005 with a BA degree in French and Spanish.
He remained at Aberystwyth to study for an MScEcon in European Politics between 2005 and 2006, before gaining employment in the world of politics.
Prior to his appointment as University Secretary in February 2013, Geraint was Research and Communications Manager for Ceredigion’s Welsh Assembly Member, Elin Jones AM.
