I am a member of the Earth Observation and Ecosystem Dynamics Research Group at Aberystwyth University. My research investigates the use of UAV LiDAR and photogrammetry to measure the biophysical attributes of Sitka spruce plantations in Wales.

My work is funded through a KESS-2 scholarship provided by the European Social Fund and administered by the Welsh Assembly Government. I am co-sponsored by Tilhill Forestry, one of the UK's largest private forestry management companies.
