Black History Month 2020
Black History Month is a month of celebrations to acknowledge the contributions made by people of African and African-Caribbean descent to local, national and world history and culture by delivering informative, educational and celebratory content during the month of October every year.
The below events are being put on by external organisations and a warm welcome has been extended to staff and students at AU:
- Talk by Akala + A discussion on race & learning by panelist’s Foluke Adebisi and Abu-Bakr Madden Al-Shabazz. This discussion is geared for educators. 1st October 2-5pm
- Official National Online Launch of Black History Wales 1st October 1-3pm
