To allow engagement with the public the IBERS Building on the Penglais Campus provides a community foyer and exhibition space, café and servery, meeting rooms and seminar facilities as well as the outdoor seating area spaces in the Academic Square Garden and the cafe.
This new building has been built and is run at a highly environmentally sustainable level, indeed 35% of its total water use is predicted to be provided by rainwater or grey water. The building report below detail the BREEAM excellence rating awarded to this development:
IBERS Bach Cafe
IberBach café is Open from Monday to Friday to the general public. Open from 8am till 6pm (term time) and open 9am till 5pm outside of term time. External landscaping and seating areas are provided at the back of the Café area and at the front of the building. There are 4 seminar rooms that offer flexible seating from 24 to 54 people all with data projection facilities. All 4 rooms have disabled access and induction loop facilities. Access to non-public areas is controlled with the use of swipe cards which are provided to relevant staff.

The IBERS Building reception is open from 8.30 to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. If any groups wish to use the foyer / exhibition space they will need to book the venue through the Timetable Office on 01970 621986.
