DIS celebrates 50 Years

On December 18th DIS celebrated 50 years of providing quality courses in Information Studies.

Fifty staff, both past and present, attended a buffet lunch in Pen Bryn organised by Mike Lowe, Geraint Evans and Lucy Tedd.

Lucy Tedd wins Jason Farradine Award

Lucy Tedd, who retired as a Lecturer  in the Department of Information Studies at Aberystwyth University in 2012 , has been presented with the Jason Farradane Award  for 2014.
