As part of our objective to strengthen our international academic ties, we welcome students from all over the world through our North American, Asian and Australian partnerships.
In order to be eligible to apply for the International Exchange Programme, you must currently be enrolled as a full-time student at one of our Partner Institutions. If your University is not listed as one of our International Exchange Partners, please get in touch with us at email@example.com to see what options you have to study at Aberystwyth University.
All students interested in enrolling at Aberystwyth University through the International Exchange Programme must be nominated by their Home Institution - in order to be nominated, please contact the relevant department at your Home Institution to nominate students, our partners should contact the Study Abroad Office via firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nominations for Semester 1 and Full Year of the 2019/2020 Academic Year will be open up until 25th April 2019. The nomination deadline for Semester 2 of the 2019/2020 Academic Year is 10th October 2019. If you require the deadline to be extended, please get in touch as soon as possible. We recommend students apply no later than one week after the official deadline in such cases so that our office can provide them with acceptance materials as well as the necessary housing information and the immigration support.
Once we have received your nomination from your home university, students are then asked to complete and submit the Incoming Students Application Form 2019-2020*.
All applications will need to be supported with the following documentation:
- Academic Transcript
- IELTS Certificate (for non-native English speakers)
- Copy of Passport ID Pages
*This form is used to confirm that your Home Institution is satisfied with the Course you are intending to enrol into as part of your exchange. The form can be signed by either the Academic Exchanges Coordinator or the Institutional Exchanges Coordinator.
Please note: we require students to fill in the form electronically – the completed form should be signed and stamped by the home university. The completed form along with the supporting documentation should be sent to email@example.com. Any student who would like to study at Aberystwyth University needs to ensure their passport is valid for at least three additional months after their placement has finished.
