Research demands skills in searching, evaluating and analysing an increasing range of sources, and often discipline specific training and awareness. At Aberystwyth information skills are supported by subject specialist librarians and research support in Information Services in a range of ways, including specialist clinics bookable online.
The Research at Aberystwyth and The Centre for the Development of Staff and Academic Practice (CDSAP) also support researchers with the latter providing an annual programme of continuing professional development sessions, events and workshops, as well as delivering a number of accredited and non-accredited programmes of study.
Vitae have created a number of downloadable pamphlets for researcher development including The Informed Researcher
