Cylch Teifi Walkers
23 January 2017
Led by Dyfed and Siân Elis-Gruffydd on our January trip, we ventured to the Carreg Wen and Llechryd area. We began at the Cilfowyr Baptist Chapel and walked to the village of Carreg-Wen to see the church there. We then walked down the lane to the old Maenordeifi church and on to Llechryd bridge before returning to our starting point. As expected, we heard interesting tales about the chapel, the churches, the building materials and the course of the Teifi river and the Teifi valley. It was a very entertaining journey with pretty lanes and good weather. There was also plenty of chatting while we walked!
