This is an ideal course for those wishing to explore the painting of a variety of botanical subjects or wishing to develop their fine art skills. The course will cover specialist watercolour techniques required to accurately depict different botanical forms and their specific details, colours and textures. Throughout the course you will explore the work of Botanical illustration painters and gain an insight into the techniques they used. Botanical terms, plant uses and the functions of different plants structures will also be covered. By the end of the course you will be able to use a range of drawing, painting and colour mixing techniques to create realistic botanical illustration of your favourite plants.
