Logo: AdvanceHE National Teaching Fellowship SchemeThe purpose of the National Teaching Fellowship Scheme is to recognise, reward and celebrate individuals who have made an outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession.

Applications need to show that they contribute to the enhancement of the student experience and the teaching profession in their institution, or further afield, in their discipline. 

The institution can only enter three applications, annually, so an internal process has been designed; all information can be found on the NTFS Blackboard site. A nominee should be an HEA fellow (any category) or working towards an application.

Please note: The University internal process for this award will open in early October and close in late November.

Aberystwyth University will process your personal data collected through these claim forms in order to perform a task carried out in the public interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(e) and to perform your contractual agreement with the University (GDPR Article 6(1)(b). The form will be used for the purpose of selection for entry to CATE or NTFS and will be accessible only to the selection panels.

For successful candidates, this information will form the basis of your student record and will be processed and retained in accordance with the University’s retention schedule. For unsuccessful candidates, this information will be disposed of within 6 months of your application.
