Students will be encouraged to develop the capacity to understand and analyse conflicting interpretations and perspectives, to understand the ways in which historians have used source materials and developed hypotheses, to understand the relationship between short-term and long-term processes of change and to present information in a clear and intelligible manner through essays and seminar presentations.
