Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
Demonstrate an ability to participate effectively in a structured production environment; demonstrate an ability to contribute productively to the creation of a collaboratively conceived performance work by identifying and implementing appropriate methodologies of making and compositional skills

Brief description
This is a practical production module, which involves the creation of a substantial performance work, conceived, produced, and performed collaboratively by the students under the facilitation of a member of staff and/or guest artist.
The module introduces students to professional practices and procedures of production: approaches to conception, devising, composition and exposition in the public domain.

Content
This is a practical production module, which involves the creation of a substantial performance work, conceived, produced and performed collaboratively by the students under the facilitation of a member of staff and/or guest artist.
The module is delivered through an intensive 4-week making and rehearsal period, which is usually scheduled after the Easter period and the completion of TPM0430.
The rehearsal period involves 30 hours of rehearsals per week for a period of 4 weeks. This period culminates in the public performnace of the work at the end of Week 4.
The module introduces students to professional practices and procedures of production: approaches to concept, devising, composition and expositioin in the public domain. Following the performance, students are required to apply reflexive evaluation and articulation of the conceptiom, devising and composition and exposition of the work and their own personal contribution to it in the form of a critical commentary.
Individual contributions to the process will be continuously monitored by the production's facilitator (and in 10 sessions of observation of 1 hour by an additional member of staff if the production's facilitator is not a member of staff).
