On successful completion of this module, students will be able to:

  • Describe corporate structures in terms of legal entities together with their internal management with particular emphasis on workflow (A2)
  • Show an appreciation of the use of information and communication technologies in modern business (A2)

Brief description

Electronic commerce is largely concerned with re-engineering business processes so that they are carried out over the Internet. In order to design and implement the necessary software, it is essential to understand the nature of the interaction of people, processes and technology. This module addresses this requirement.
