On successful completion of this module students should be able to:

Demonstrate knowledge of the concepts and practical aspects of engineering geology .

Demonstrate knowledge of the methodology of site investigations.

Prepare in professional standard site investigation reports.

Use mathematical procedures at a standard necessary to support engineering theory.

Brief description

This module is designed for students to develop a conceptual, factual and practical knowledge of civil engineering within a geological and environmental context. It will particularly develop the professional skills of those students who are aiming for a professional career in related industry.
