  3. Organise and co-ordinate their work in order to plan and implement an extended research project.
  4. Interpret and discuss their project/demonstrator in terms of the current knowledge of the topic.
  5. Present and defend their work orally and in a formal written account.

Brief description

Following the literature research and planning during the initial phase of this module, the student carries out a project normally within one of the research groups under the supervision of the project supervisor. The results are to be interpreted and discussed in terms of the current knowledge of the research topic, and the work presented both orally and in a formal written report.

Further details are provided on the project web page.

Content

The research topic will be different for each project.
