Established in 1872, Aberystwyth University prides itself in a healthy Town-Gown relationship  - Aberystwyth being a small, friendly, town which has a population of approximately 13,500 people.

The University’s main centres for teaching and research are located on Penglais campus, as are the residential facilities for students. The views from the campus are second to none in any university location in the United Kingdom.
