Summer McDonnell
Student Employability Adviser
Summer is responsible for facilitating and implementing the front-line services of the department to all students and graduates of the University. She is also responsible for resourcing and inputting vacancies on to ABERcareers as well as ensuring that a broad range of relevant and current information resources are readily available for our students and graduates.

Employer Engagement Team
Gwen Adams
Employer Engagement Manager
Gwen has overall responsibility for the employer engagement work undertaken by the Careers Service, designed to inform, encourage and support the development of self-awareness, employability and career-planning skills. Her role involves overseeing employer liaison work to negotiate and provide quality work experience opportunities and participation in on-campus events, and the coordination of AberForward, a unique programme of employability initiatives combining training and a work placement, all with the clear aim of helping Aberystwyth University students and graduates to feel confident and ready to meet the challenges of the graduate job market.
