Global Wales Discover
Aberystwyth University is part of the Global Wales Discover programme, a British Council-run programme funded by the Welsh Government and Global Wales. This provides funding for Welsh Universities to deliver short-term mobility opportunities for Welsh undergraduate students to work, study or volunteer in another country.
For students, Global Wales Discover is a valuable opportunity to spend a short time abroad, and develop their interpersonal and communication skills through increased confidence and cultural awareness, key considerations for employees when hiring graduates.
Funding is available to support eligible students’ living costs and travel, for two to eight weeks of working, studying or volunteering worldwide.
