Networks - Internal

A quote from a member of the Staff Disability and Wellbeing Network

When I last saw my community psychiatric nurse she said she felt I was ready to be discharged from Gorwelion.  I'm very pleased to have the support of the disability and wellbeing network once a month now that I'm no longer seeing my CPN on a regular basis.  I think I can speak for all members of the network that it is really helpful to have a place to talk freely about what is going on in our lives.  In our day to day working lives it is not always easy to find the space or the trust to give more than a superficial answer to the question "How are you?", particularly for somebody with chronic health problems.  One thing the network offers is a space where we listen in more depth to what is really going on for the people who come along. There is a great atmosphere of trust and respect among the people who come to the network.
