Brief description
This module will embrace a study of text and theatre from 18th century English comedy, German Romatic Drama, Modern European Drama of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Contemporary British Drama and non-Western concepts of Theatre.  During the lectures and seminars students will also be introduced to the concepts of 'realism, naturalism and beyond'.
