|Project work||Instead of writing the dissertation a practical project can be undertaken as follows: 60% (eg development of a piece of software) comprising a written report of c.4,000 words and Practical Element - 40%|
This module is devoted to the student's individual research into an approved topic relating to some aspect of information and library studies. Initially, the module looks at planning, design and writing approaches relevant for the dissertation.
The module is spread over the two semesters. Assessment takes place in the second semester.
