Aims
The aim of the module is to familiarise students with the problems od establishing and running a small business. It also attempts to indicate the importance of the small business sector in the UK and other Western economies. The module deals with the economic context of the small firm and its environment; the nature and role of entrepreneurship, marketing management and financial management, sources of external finance and the causes and extent of small business failure.
