This module will complete the set on `Concepts in Physics' which aims to develop the ability of the student to tackle unfamiliar physical problems. In this module the main emphasis will be on setting up differential equations to model physical situations. This will be parallelled by a series of exercise classes where a series of questions will be tackled. These questions will use the full range of mathematical tools developed during the whole 4-year course, and will develop and test the general understanding of the student.

Teaching will be by means of 2-hour workshops with a strong emphasis on problem-solving.
Developing mathematical models of physical problems, involving the setting up of differential equations in areas of physics familiar to students.
Solving general physics problems which span one or more previously taught modules.
