This module offers students with GCSE in Spanish (or equivalent qualification) the opportunity to study this major international language at university level as an adjunct to their main studies, especially with vocational purposes and exchange programmes (such as Socrates) in mind.
On completion of this module students should have acquired a grasp of the more important linguistic structures in Spanish (including competence in the use of the past tenses and the subjunctive mood) and be able to communicate at an intermediate level in spoken and written Spanish. They will have covered the course book Espanol sin fronteras (nivel medio).
