On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:
research particular topics of marketing
relate the results of their research to wider business and social contexts
present and defend arguments in verbal and written form
Develop the research competencies of Marketing Major students.
Integrate students' marketing knowledge with the wider business and social contexts.
develop students presentation and discussion skills.
Six topics, chosen each year - so that they may vary from year to year to reflect the evolving frontiers of marketing - and treated at an advanced level (i.e. in a way that reflects cutting edge research).
Reading lists for each topic will be distributed during the module.
Each student is expected to carry out his/her own research into source materials for each piece of coursework.
