After taking this module students should:
be able to plan and perform an experiment with minimal input from teaching staff, utilising skills developed in previous modules.
Students are provided with a practical problem and in small groups attempt to solve the problem by designing and peforming suitable expeiments of their own design.
Students will be required to undertake practical experiments.
A small library of appropriate books is kept in the Part 2 Laboratory.
