b. Focus is directed on the vocational elements within each enterprise and the steps required to achieve employability within that area
Careers, skills development
This module is based around a study tour where various aspects of the equine industry are examined and compared. Students completing this module will develop an understanding of the activities associated with specific aspects of the equine industry, in particular racing, breeding, leisure, and research as well as the supporting enterprises. In addition, one of the primary aims of the module is to give students a greater awareness of the vocational activities associated with the equine industry and thereby a greater understanding of future employment opportunities.
