Aberystwyth University are pleased to offer a Higher Education Funding Council Wales funded Micro-credentials training programme. The aim of the programme is to provide short, highly relevant, industry specific training to businesses with the focus on training the workforce in specific business resiliency and sustainability practices.
Micro-credential training involves delivery of short programmes of study. Delivery can be at either foundation, intermediate or advanced levels depending upon company needs. Candidates attending the training will be given the opportunity to gain University credit which they can use to support future undergraduate and/ postgraduate study and provides an ideal entry point into future higher education programmes.
The modules run for 10 hours in duration and candidates will have the opportunity to gain academic credit at either final year degree (level 6) or at Masters level (level 7).
