Choosing where you live during your time at university can be a big decision; there are several important factors you might want to think about before completing your application form.

For example:

Cost - What can you afford? We have a range of accommodation types to suit different budgets from standard single rooms to luxury Studio Apartments.

Location - Our residences are located on or near to Penglais Campus.

Facilities - What facilities are important to you?

En-suite - Enjoy living in your own self-catered room with a private bathroom
Standard - Standard accommodation offers you great value for money where you will live with a community of students making it even easier to make new friends. The bathrooms and kitchens will be shared
Studio – Your studio accommodation will offer you private self-contained living with your own private kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Lifestyle Choices - Aberystwyth has a range of accommodation choices to suit the different lifestyle choices of our students. We currently have the following lifestyle options available, and we are working on further developments in future years.

Length of contract - Do you need a room just for the term or over summer as well? If you are a postgraduate student we offer a range of 50 week accommodation.

Meal options - For students wanting to live through the medium of Welsh there is the option to live in a catered residence (accommodation including meal allowance with restaurant on site) or in a self-catered residence. See Welsh Medium Residences below.
