Collection & Delivery of Mail to Departments

All the University's external post must be processed through the franking machine in the Old College. This is now a condition of the Financial Regulations and Internal Audit. Mail for distribution by the Royal Mail is collected by the University's courier and porters, from departments and brought to the Old College. The courier visits each department at least twice a day.

In order to assist departments an additional collection has been organised for the late afternoon. This service is for the collection of external mail that requires franking by the Post Room only, and is not for the delivery or collection of internal mail. A special bag has been supplied to every department. Please ensure that you use these.
