On successful completion of this module students should be able to:

Demonstrate an understanding of basic budgetary accounts.

Identify external factors affecting rural businesses

Brief description

The course covers what what entrepreneurship really is and how entrepreneurship works and how to be entrepreneurial in your thinking. The course will also introduce the concept of Change Leadership and how businesses can manage change. The second part of the course will provide the students with how to build and develop budgetary accounts, which will provide them with the basics needed for developing their own financials for a business proposal.

Aims

The principle aim of this microcredential is to introduce the topic and also to give them the basic tools required to attempt the other 3 microcredentials from the BDM8320 module.

Content

The course will cover:
1) Principles of Entrepreneurship.
2) Recording and Collating Figures for budgets.

Subject Specific Skills Budgetary accounting skills will be introduced to the students along with the how successful entrepreneurs think and act.
