Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this module students should be able to:

Recognise the process of formulating and evaluating a behaviour change intervention

Compare behaviour change interventions related to food and energy behaviours and demonstrate an understanding of why some had more success than others.

Brief description

This module will explore how and where behaviour change approaches might be used, highlight relevant research and include case studies relevant to the food production, processing and retail and biotech sectors.

Content

Through a series of online lectures, guided reading and quizzes, students will explore:
- The process of formulating and evaluating a behaviour change intervention
- Some behaviour change interventions related to food and energy behaviours and demonstrate an understanding of why some had more success than others.
- The value of using reflective practice and behaviour change approaches within public bodies
