On successful completion of this module students should be able to:

Critically assess how Strategy and effective Leadership in an organization can achieve improved business performance and consider the correspondence between factors in the external environment and the organization’s competences and resources

Formulate strategic options for companies using strategic analysis, formulate and defend a strategic plan, and identify methods of implementation and the implications of strategic change

Brief description

This module examines international strategy and leadership in businesses. Creating and delivering an effective strategy is a critically important aspect of business worldwide. The module examines techniques required for the design, operation and deployment of a business strategy including effective leadership as a means of reducing business risk.

This module aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of international strategy and leadership in businesses. It will consider how to create and deliver an effective strategy and identifies the techniques required for the design, operation and deployment of a business strategy including effective leadership as a means of reducing business risk.

Real world sense Students will have to prepare an individual assignment based on data and information that they will have to collect, have to arrange coherently in a written document all the relevant material gathered. Student will need to demonstrate their research skills and knowledge of businesses in preparation for lectures and tutorials.
