This course introduces students to the environmental and business considerations of livestock production systems.

Content

Through a series of online lectures, guided reading and quizzes, students will explore:
a. How livestock management strategies can impact final product quality
b. How research on climate change can be used to ensure continued efficiency
c. How a business manager might identify opportunities to improve efficiencies or diversify livestock production systems
d. Aspects of livestock production systems that might impact business risk and uncertainty
